Hey guys! This is my possible future build: Click Me!
I will be using 1 1920x1080 monitor. Should I go with the Sapphire HD7970 6GB Vapor-X OR Sapphire HD7970 3GB?
Thanks!

  1. 3gb version, 3gb is plenty for even triple monitors right now, 6gb is just plain overkill and will offer no advantage over 3gb in 1080p

Probably. But I want something to last me for at least 2 years... Will 3GB do the job?
  3. Ram limitation won't be the thing that out dates the card, it will be the actual GPU performance it self
So in that regard a 6gb will still offer no benefit over the 3gb, both would last the same around
  4. Yes 3gb version is good
Gigabyte, asus modells are also very good
  5. I agree that the 3GB version is enough. The 6GB version comes with a $150 additional cost, a decent factory OC that will boost performance a bit, but not enough to warrant the cost.

What I would do, if I were you, is get the 3GB version and use the money you save to get an i5-3570k:

and a an Intel-based AsRock extreme motherboard:
    ASRock motherboard

You'll definitely see better performance with Intel architecture at this time.
