Hi guys,
About 2 years ago we got robbed. And the thieves took away most of the electronics including my PC, speakers and my brother's Home theater. Fortunately the home theater had around 5-6 speakers in total, so they took 3 plus the amplifier and left two huge sub-woofers. So he was left with two big speakers with no way of using them. He therefore decided to throw them in the attic. My question is how do I connect these two speakers to my PC and get the most performance out of them I know they're rated for 200Watts RMS each so do I need an amplifier?

Yes definitely you can use them by connecting the amplifier input to pc audio output behind the pc normally green. Yes 200Watt RMS speakers you will need atleast a 100 watt or more output capable amplifier to enjoy. Regards

As Imomun said, you'll need an amp (and, if the subs don't have built-in crossovers, you may have to use one that has dedicated subwoofer outputs as they may be damaged - or even cause damage to the amp - if they are fed with full-range signals), but you'll also need some other speakers to go with them. You won't get much out of a pair of subwoofers apart from "boom" and "rumble" as subs are, by definition, normally only capable of reproducing the very lowest frequencies. If you already have some decent PC speakers, you may be OK.

You'll have to play around with the volume of the subs relative to the other speakers in order to get the right balance of low and high frequencies, as they will not be part of a matched set as they were when they were used with your friend's home theatre system.

You can connect your two speakers by using different types of china electronics product. Those electronics product are cheap in rate and provide a good service as you need. I am also connect two PC speakers by using a china amplifier electronics product and that's working really good.
