Hello,

Just want to ask, If I want to reinstall my OS and I have 2 storage device my OS is in SSD and my games and files are in my HDD. If I install an OS in my SSD, my files on HDD are also deleted? or before I install/re install an OS to my SSD, I should remove first my HDD and then connecti t again after OS is installed, does it detect with my files on it?

Solution
Not exactly.
If you have games installed on the HDD, they will have registry entries on the os drive.
If you erase and replace the os drive, you will lose those registry entries and have to reinstall your games or other programs.

But, normal data files on the HDD will still be accessible after a clean install of the os drive.

Also, when you reinstall the os, disconnect the data hard drive so windows will not try to put a hidden recovery partition on it.
After the os install, you can reconnect, and your data will still be readable.
Your files on the hdd will not be deleted and that is part of the problem! If you re-install the os, you will loose whatever the games/programs wrote to the windows directory an the registry. Don't expect any of them to work, without a reinstall, or better uninstall them first.

No, your games and files will not be deleted, but please unplug your external hard drive when formatting the main HD, so that Windows will not format it and you won't lose your data.
