I have couple of questions about new haswell series coming soon.
1.)How fast they will be in gaming compared to Ivy Bridge
2.)Whats release date (when theyll start selling them)
3.)What will be their price and price of mobos at launch
4.)Will their best i5 non k model be good for 7 years

Thats about what I want to ask. If I could handle 10 years with pentium 4 then I can wait a month more. But if prices are going to be astronomical than Im going with Ivy Bridge. I will have dedicated graphics so I dont care about iGPUs

At this time, it is all speculation.
Here is my guess:
1. Haswell cpu's will be 10%-15% faster per clock than current ivy bridge. If you will use their integrated graphics, it will be a huge improvement, possibly 4x over current HD3000/4000. Otherwise, not a significant jump over a current 3570K.
2. It is looking like June.
3. I expect prices to be comparable to current ivy bridge cpu's at the same clock rate, and ditto on the motherboards with similar features. There might be a slight premium because they are new, but they will not sell if price performance is not at least equal to the old.
4. Warranty will be less than 7 years. Only YOU can tell what your needs will be in the future.

My friend's father has a beta tester chip, and it's really nice. I wasn't able to get much info, but I was told that the stock speeds will be around 3.9Ghz with a turbo boost of 4.3Ghz. As for the questions..

1. They will be significantly more powerful because of their architecture, and should crush the Ivy Bridge in all aspects
2. Intel said around Q2
3. Pretty expensive, I'm guessing the i5 will be around 279.99, but I have no idea for the motherboards. The Z87 chipset can be used in any type of budget, so I assume you will have everything from ASUS Extreme boards to Biostar budget.
4. We can't really speculate on how long the chips will last, but I assume so. I'm sure that they will work after 7 years, but they certainly won't be top-of-the-line. Intel even stated (I think) that they will break Moore's Law by then.
