I would suggest the gtx 670 ftw from evga or a hd7970 from sapphire. Both are great cards but I personally own the gtx 670 ftw and am soon gonna sli it for arma 3

As you didn't bring any budget forward, then I recommend Titan 3-way SLI.

Just kidding.

If you're looking for high-end gaming GPUs and don't care of either AMD or Nvidia, then the Radeon 7950 and GTX 670 has the best value, in the high-end GPU segment.

If you wanna step up, then don't get the GTX 680. It has awful value, then the Radeon 7970 GHz ed. is better even though it gets hot and it has a high power consumption.

Anything above the Radeon 7970 GHz. edition is owned by Nvidia, as AMD doesn't have that great CF compatibility as SLI by Nvidia.

GTX 670 is slightly behind 7970? So not really.

"The GeForce GTX 670 is a battle-hardened contender. Offering performance slightly below the Radeon HD 7970 and a lower price to match, this was one of our favorite cards right when it launched. It remains a cool, quiet, and attractive option today."
