USB Drive not linking up.

Normally when a usb drive doesn't connect it's because it doesn't have enough power.
Here's a couple of things to try:-
plug the hard drive into the rear usb ports on your motherboard, the front ports don't supply as much power
plug in an additonal power supply
if you have a powered usb hub, try that as in intermedairy
