AMD FX-8120 vs AMD FX-6300 for gaming, live streaming, and youtube making

I was looking on PC Partpicker and noticed something

The FX-8120 was less than the FX-6300!

So for gaming, live streaming, and youtube video making, which has the better performance? I know one is Bulldozer, and one is Vishera, but does that make a HUGE difference? Thanks

I think that the difference in clock frequency and other performance per core bonuses from the FX-6300 is enough to offset the higher core count of the FX-8120. I'd go for the FX-6300, especially in gaming where it'll usually have the advantage with current games thanks to its greater performance per core. The difference probably isn't HUGE either way, but considerable.
