My mobo is a Asus M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard
my cpu is a amd fx-8120
i have a 600w psu
8gb ram

i want to use 4 monitors and two on each card is a hd 6450 and a hd 7770 compatible together on the same mobo.
also is there enough power to power it.
and does the hd 6450 and 7770 work as a crossfire.
if it dont work together what will work with the hd 6450 other than another hd 6450

You can run a single HD7770 but unfortunately you wont be able to crossfire with the HD6450 :( The HD7770 and HD 6450 are completely different chips in capable of cross fire. If you're running a HD 6450 right now and want more monitors and that's all you need the cards for then i'd suggest you just get another HD6450 and run a "crossfire" setup. Also don't worry about power consumption with the HD6450's. They barely consume and you could even crossfire them on a 350w PSU as they dont require additional power and draw all their power from the motherboard.

All monitors must be connected to the primary card.in crossfire. Adding a second card in crossfire does NOT allow you to add more monitors. The second card must be run independently from the first.

Yes. If you just want more monitors and no gaming just get the cheapest card you can find, like another 6450. If you want to do some light gaming on one monitor, and have the others for desktop the 7770 would make sense.

One primary monitor for gaming on the 7770, and one on the desktop. Two on the desktop from the 6450. you generally need high end cards to game on more than one monitor, and you would never want to use 2 as the Bezel would be right in the middle of you game and you couldn't see anything.
