I am planning on building a gaming computer. I bought an Asus Sabertooth z77 motherboard and I would like to know some high-end parts that are compatible with it e.g video card, hdd, sdd, CPU. Also

i have that mb myself. there are a lot of good vendor parts out there. for the money the intel i5 3570k is the best price/performace cpu. if you have a local micro center near you they run 190.00. for cash savings you can also go with a non k chip or one of the new i5 that does not have built in gpu. one of the best cases now for the money is a cosair r-200/r-300. nxzt also makes some nice gaming cases. with the gaming case look out for the max video card lenth and cpu cooler height. some tall coolers wont fit or they hit the side fan if there is one.

ram.
for the ssd 840/840 pro or intel ssd. try to stay away from rebranded ssd. hard drives wd green/black drives with the largest cache. for video cards right now the best dollar is the 7870 for entry level gaming. the min for a nvidia card would be the 650ti. myself i never had any issue with nvidia video cards and games or drivers. myself i go out get a 660ti or 670. I i was building a new game rig I would use a sealed liquid cooler. (the heavy coolers can warp/bend motherboards or if the system is moved a lot can damage a mb if it flexes a lot. with the sealed coolers there less weight on the cpu/cpu pack.
