Looking to replace my evga285 sli with a single card of equal performance or better to play direct X 11 games.
Does anyone have any good suggestions that would work with my system?
Win 7
Q9550 OC to 3.6
ASUS P5E mobo
Antec 850W
8 gb corsair dominator

I think a single gtx 660 would be about the same performance. I'm still searching around though.

I recommend looking at Nvdia's GTX 670, 680 and also AMD's 6950 and 6970.

***Giving the 285 SLI an edge by assuming it scales FPS linearly 100%.

Edit: Your power supply will be able to handle any of these cards with ease. However, if you plan to SLI/Xfire the higher models, you may need to upgrade your PSU.

In that case, the HD7950 or HD7870 LE/XT versions are really the best options.

I was really looking at the 7870 LE/XT. I think I will go with that as the prices with the rebates are pretty good.

Good. Sapphire and PowerColor have great versions. But I trust Sapphire much more.
