Well after dozens of hours and research(much of that on these forums) I believe I have pieced together a formidable PC. This is my first ever build and I wanted your opinions to make sure everything fits together and I have selected the proper components.

Approximate Purchase Date:Tomorrow

Budget Range: 1500 including monitor and peripherals

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, family video editing, pictures editing (What is a recommendation on an easy to use program for this?)

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Windows 8

Preferred Website(s) Amazon

Location: USA

Overclocking: 10-15 percent nothing insane

SLI or Crossfire: In the future

Your Monitor Resolution: Full HD

Here is what I have:

PC:
Intel Core i5-3570K
AS Rock Z77 EXTREME4
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (with the short heatsink)
EVGA GeForce GTX670 FTW Signature2
Cooler Master 690 II Advanced - Mid Tower Computer Case
Samsung Electronics 840 Pro Series 2.5-Inch 128 SATA
WD Black 500 GB Desktop Hard Drive: 3.5 Inch, 7200 RPM, SATA III
Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS
Lite-On Super AllWrite 24X SATA DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive

Monitor:
Viewsonic VX2450WM-LED 24-Inch (23.6-Inch Vis) Widescreen LED Monitor with Full HD 1080p and Speakers - Black

Peripherals:
Microsoft X4 keyboard.
CM Storm Xornet mouse

OS:
Windows 8

I already have a pair of Sennheiser PC 360 headphones so I need a Mobo surround support.

Not the greatest PC ever but it comes to $1597.00 for everything. Will this case hold two 670's? and how big of a power supply do I need? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

A 3770k isn't necessarily best for gaming. A i5 3570k is a tank; I don't see why you need more than that for gaming. Maybe in 5 years they will start making games optimized for 8 cores, but for now a 3570k is as good as, and in some cases better than a i7 3770k. Also he said he needed a mobo surround support. I'm not sure if the Asus p8z77 board has that.
Also, stenzel, 600w will not likely be enough for a sli. 750w would be better.

He's doing editing too, stenzel.

The MoBo does have surround.

The 600W is $20 off. If he really thinks that he will upgrade soon, he can buy a 750W from Corsair.

I agree with you on the 3570k. Is the radeon 7950 comparable to the 670? One reason I picked the 670 was because I will be playing Arma 3 and they will have support for PhysX call it a gimmick but I have seen in on borderlands and it defiantly adds to it. Did some research on the power supply as well, You are correct a 750 would be much better. In the Corsair Series, is it worth picking up a gold series over the bronze?
