Hi,

What would be a decent 100+-20 dollar(actually euro, finland) graphics card for the following computer which I was given?

Athlon 7450, 2.40ghz, dual core
Motherboard: 740G
Current graphics: Radeon 4650HD 1GB
PSU: 250 Watt

The PC is an ACER M3201 from 2009. I can currently run BF3 on medium-low settings but it doesn't draw all the textures in multiplayer.

I basically would like to buy a card that woudn't require a new PSU... But I suppose thats an option.

I was looking at the gt640 or a gtx650.

Thanks!

You will have to upgrade your power supply no matter which gpu you choose. This will add about $40 to your cost. As for the card, I would get the radeon 7770 ghz edition.

If you are set on getting an nvidia card, then buy the gtx 650. The 640 isn't really good for gaming.
