I have a problem with my amd athlon II x4 635, my core temps read around 80-90 deg c, I have checked them with both speed fan, core temp and occt all read the same. Checking bios CPU temp it is around 25 deg c and same result on mobo software that only reads CPU temp. These temps are all at idle. For cooling I have a zalman cnps9900 which is huge, 1 rear 200mm exhaust fan, 1 200mm front intake fan. I have reseated my heatsink and reapplied thermal paste. Weird thing is the pc runs fine with an exception of some frames issues in games that has made me investigate. So tldr; way high core temps nice cosy CPU temp..... How is this even possible?

the bios temp usually uses a motherboard mounted sensor under the socket. it could be malfunctioning, the difference is usually only ~10-15C between the 2 readings.

Also double check the output, interesting enough 80F is 26C, wich would be normal for idle temps.
