Hey every one ,
Here's my problem.. I always used 32bit operating system on a LAN network(dl speed= 60kbps(approx) )
i purchased genuine windows 8 but because of my internet of home being slow i downladed it through a 64 bit operating system from my friends home.
and i didnt noticed it installed it and now i got to know that its 64 bit.
its slow but still workable. Now i want to ask should i keep it for a month as next month i'm upgrading my ram and motherboard to amd fx8350 with 8 GB ram.
here are my pc specs.
Intel pentium dual core cpu @ 2.5 Ghz
1 GB DDR 2 Ram
250 GB HDD
LG Flatron 23" LED monitor
Ati 7770 HD Graphics

I have to guess you're moving from XP to Win8. Note that 64-bit Win8 is faster than 32-bit. But it uses slightly more RAM. No offense meant, but sounds like your hardware sucks terribly. I expect when you upgrade the RAM you'll notice a nice performance gain. Further, is that 250 gig disk 7200 RPM or just 5400? That makes a huge difference. Upgrade to an SSD if you can -- you'll be amazed at the performance gain. Finally, Pentium dual core -- get a Core i3 at least. Not sure what AMD chip that might equate to, I only use Intel parts.

Good luck!
