I built a new Rig Today:
--> CPU is tightly fit along with Fan
--> Mobo LED is ON after connecting the 24 Pin Power Connector
--> 4 Pin 12V CPU Power Pin is also connected.
--> All studs are present
--> After pressing power button All the fan started to work but no Display.
--> I connected HDD LED but it was no working.
--> Long Press of POWER Button doesn't turns off the system. The fans continue to Run until disconnected to Power Source.
--> I just have 1 module of 4 GB DDR3 RAM
To test any shorting I took out the whole mobo and kept it on a Non Conducting Material (polly bag in my case). Still no luck.
I think this could be due to faulty Power Supply? Any help would be grateful.
System Specs:
AMD Athlon II X2 270
M5A78L-M LX V2
BLS4G3D1339DS1S00 (4 GB Crucial Ballistix Sports)
450W power supply.
