128gb SSD or 1TB HDD?

Ideally you want both.
If the objective is pure gaming performance, than you want to go with the HDD. Not because it performs better, but because neither makes a difference and this way you get more storage. A faster drive will not lead to an increased FPS in games, though it will effect general system usage, load and boot times.
If youv only got the budget for one or the other, go for the HDD. If you intend to upgrade the rig with the other fairly soon after building the rig, go with the SSD as it will save you a lot of hassle re-installing the OS and all your programs.
