I have had my computer for about a year now, and my problem is that when I first hit the power button for about a second the computer will try to turn on (fan will start, light on back of psu will come on) then immediately shut off (i have noticed that the light on the psu will cut off for a split second before the loop continued) i have unplugged it, opened it up, removed the 3v batt on the mobo, ive even tried flipping it like someone suggested
I put startup loop in the thread title because all of the reboot threads ive read said they managed to get to the boot screen or theyve heard a beep, but mine doesn't even last long enough to let me see a screen.
this is not the first time ive had this problem, but when it has happened before i just unplugged the power cord until it had no power left (it would still do it once or twice after being unplugged) then i would plug it in and the loop would be fixed. its been weeks since the last time this has happened though and this time that quick three minute fix isn't working
is there anyone that can please help me?
my specs that i know are
Dell XPS 8500
8gb DDR3 RAM
1Tb 7200rpm HDD
RADEONHD 7570 Graphics card
3rd gen i5 processor, don't know the exact one but i haven't changed the computer at all it is stock
