I have a Galaxy GT 430 and it runs great for my needs (Minecraft and HD videos.) But i recently decided to try out overclocking. I tried to take all of the precautions and have gpu z and msi kombustor and all of that stuff.

Now i managed to get it to
Core 842mhz (700mhz default)
Memory 950mhz (800mhz default)
Shaders 1684mhz (1400mhz default)
on stock voltage. Msi konbustor ran for aroun 30 mins and no artifacts around 71C.

But my question is am i going to kill this card really fast by doing this? I don't want to kill it or damage it. should i reset all of my clocks or am i ok because i didn't up the voltage and the temps seem fine. the voltage is at 0.9900 V

And don't tell me that i need a new card if i want more power. I only got this card because it was $50.00 at the time and it does what i need.

That is a pretty decent OC for that card, and as long as you aren't going over on temps and voltage you will be fine. As ikaz said tho, you will void warranty and possibly reduce its lifespan which is always a concern with overclocking, and something you should consider, but since it's already done, and well by the looks of it :) I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep the temps within the manufacturer's temp range (max of 98C but for prolonged use I'd keep it below 80C) and below the max voltage (can't find refernece but what you have posted should be fine). Good luck!
