its always hot i mean it heats up my room i don't even need a heater anymore .Everytime i restart the computer going in to win i get blue screen 4 times black screen untill finally goes in .I think its time for new cr i just hope its not the port on the asus board having issues maybe i should just get a asus maximums and new card

Well, around 1.2GHz to 1.3GHz is average for the GPU and around 1.7GHz to 2GHz is average for the graphics card's memory IIRC. However, better overclocking isn't the only advantage of the Asus Matrix. It has a lot of other nice advantages including a larger, better cooler and some very nice features.

Just to make sure, by ram, you're referring to the graphics card's RAM, not the system RAM, right?

If you want a tutorial on overclocking the Asus Matrix, then I'm sure that I could find something to help you.

Well I want to know if the system I have is good now or should I upgrade my graphics cars and mother board and CPU. The ram in my internal is good but everyone I over clock it this clunkier acting up lately it will restart wih no screen black screen blue screen error. I know my card needs to be replaced but I'm not sure if I should so the board and CPU as well

The rest of your system that you have now should be pretty good. You could get better right now, but that's not necessary at all. An i7 920 shouldn't have any trouble hitting some decent frequencies in overclocking such as around 4GHz IIRC and that should be plenty for such a CPU to give great performance.

You could do for a graphics card upgrade coming from a Radeon 4870X2, but the rest of the system is at the least on the upper side of decent and shouldn't need an upgrade.

Wow another one with 13.1 driver issues. See if you can update to a beta or an older driver.

Are you saying that a lot of people had issues with this driver version?

Yes well thats what it seems like. Most of the people having issues with AMD today have posted they use 13.1. Could just a strange coincidence.
