hey guys i just got this laptop

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Toshiba-Satin-Black-17.3-Satellite-C875D-S7120-Laptop-PC-with-AMD-Dual-Core-E2-1800-Accelerated-Processor-and-Windows-8-Operating-System/22863054#rr and would like expand the memory to 16gb but i know very little about computers and would like some help finding the right memory, money is an issue so under $100 would be ideal. I found this http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Channel-SODIMM-Memory-CMSO16GX3M2A1333C9/dp/B006DI9PG8/ref=pd_sim_sbs_misc_3 but not sure how well it would work with my laptop.

Thanks in advance guys.

8GB is PLENTY for a hardcore desktop. 8GB is nice but not needed in any laptop.

16GB is a waste of money and unused in high end desktops. It's beyond pointless in a laptop. you could consider a second 4GB chip if it's memory is in one 4GB.chip, or an SSD... But a laptop that low end and cheap isn't worth spending money on at all

thanks for the replies guys but i just need to know if that memory is compatible or to find one that is. Im just using it to play poker which is highly ram intensive because of all the tables i would have open and i dont want any lag. The only resource the poker client need is high ram and nothing more no high end graphics or nothing.

thanks for ALL the help to my seemingly easy question, yea the laptop is low end but its also expandable to 16gb and all i wanted was help in choosing the right 16gb ram, even if i get 10gb out of it i would prefer it then installing 8gb and getting only 6gb out of it but i guess if you guys cant see the use for it you wont help or maybe i need a high end machine to get some assistance around here.
