When I made my build I got an ssd for os and a hdd for storage the problem is that every time I boot the pc it says insert disk or reboot, I restart the pc and everything goes well boot time great and everything but this boot thing is still bugging. every time I boot the pc I have to wait 2 secs and press the restart button so I wanted to know if there's some kind of solution for this or that this has happened before with other ssd users

start with the mb bios and the ssd firmware make sure both are up to date. in the bios make sure the sata ports are set to achi mode not raid or ide. check that the power and data cables are on tight and you have the ssd and other drives on the intel/amd sata ports. a lot of mb now have 4 sata 6g ports two are intel/amd and two are 3 party chipset. in the bios also go to hard drives and make sure the ssd is the first device there and under boot. also with new mb there are two bios now a efi bios and the old stock one. see in the bios what the boot setup is. some ssd/mb have efi boot issues.
