best computer case

hey guys! is there a mid-tower/ mini case that has:
- no fan mount/ slot on top(because dust easily enters in this part),
- 3.0 & 2.0 i/o on front
- built-in card reader on front
- bottom mounted power supply
- 2 x 120 mm on right side,2/1 x 120 mm on front & 120 on rear...

any color should do, but it is better if it is black.... thanks in advance....:)

  1. currently searching newegg, but the 1st requirement kills off most of the cases haha.

also note that there isnt many cases with the card reader in it, but you can buy it seperately. will post cases that fit most of the requirements:

    Rosewill Redbone U3
    Raidmax Seiran 902

LIAN LI PC-K65 (usb is on top, there are upper end models with usb on top as well, this one is a stragler)
  2. Top fans should be set to exhaust air. Hard for dust to come down and in when air is blowing up... I also haven't seen a lot of cases with built in card readers. Probably easier to buy a case and card reader and install it in a bay.
  3. done with my rather quick search eliminating choices with neweegs search function. above 3 cases i think are the only ones that fit all but the built in reader category(which most companies keep off due to it costing them and not everyone needs them, creating a market where you buy a 5.25 bay for it.)

Top fan mounts are for exhaust purposes so you shouldn't worry about dust getting in through there as the air is actually pushed up and blowing the dust away. You don't need 2 side fan mounts. Any case that has 2-3 front fan mounts for intake and 1 rear and 2 top for exhaust is what you are looking for as it provides positive cooling pressure. Add a bottom fan and you are good to go. Silent cases can do that for you. So in your case I suggest the Fractal Design Define XL R2, I have it and it is deadly silent and the cooling is epic. My Titan idles at 24-26 Celsius and my OC 3570K idles at 26-28 Celsius. Here's the link from newegg.

Another one is Lian Li PC-A75 case. It's a full tower with 3x140mm front intake fans and can also accommodate 2x120mm side fans and top fans. So this is it for you then if you really don't want to get top fans and still want ample cooling with a best looking premium chasis.

Last but leat is the Corsair Obsidian 550D. It has what you are looking for and you can leave the top on if you don't want any fans and can take 2x120/140mm side fans and has 2x120mm front intakes and 1 rear exhaust. The top has filter to keep dust out and can mount 2x120mm fans.

That's what I'd look at and choose one. I hope this helps. No card reader, buy one since they are cheap. If you want card reader then you have to look at the NZXT 820 I believe. But these cases I have chosen are better built and have more pleasing looks than the NZXT stuff. Cheers!

Then you just leave the dust filter for the top fans in it's original position. if the case has one like the 550D and you should be golden.
