what should i go for "this build" or playstation 3?? please help

so i am confused what should i go for
this build for $600

CPU Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz Dual-Core

Motherboard ASRock Z75 Pro3 ATX LGA1155

Memory Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

Storage Seagate Constellation ES 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM

Video Card Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB

Case Zalman Z5 Plus ATX Mid Tower

Power Supply Corsair 500W ATX12V

Optical Drive Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer

or
Sony Playstation 3 250GB

i will be gaming on my 1280 X 1024 monitor at all details max

games i will be playing- battlefield 3, crysis 2, 3, call of duty (all), metro 2033, etc

I go for the pc because you can do more. Like, you can upgrade it, you can pay more game with it. etc.................... plus you can surf the web better then the ps3. Okay okay lets get more in to this. The ps3 has one core so its slow. Video card on the ps3 is heh soso not so great.

I would go with the PC as DrDukeNukem20 said you can do more stuff and be productive, but you might want to consider an SSD instead of the HDD and maybe a 7870 or a 7870 LE if you can afford it.
