it depends on which where you enjoy gaming more.
or do you already have your own pc.
i have both pc and ps3 (on the same table actually), but my ps3 just sits there, rarely used.

but that is just me, i just like the pc better, like i play bf3 then after the round i switch back to desktop do some surfing then go back to the game a few seconds later. its just that i can do a lot more with a desktop than a ps3. i can even watch youtube in between games. do some work if needed, google something

You could wait for the Playstation 4.

You need to ask yourself these fundamental questions:

Do you prefer keyboard and mouse or controller?

Can you manage to properly take care of this PC, spend money every year or two to update it.

Do you prefer couch or chair?

Buying PS3 now would be a big waste of cash though since the PS4 is coming out at the end of the year.

No, to play Crysis you'll need something better than the 7850, a 7870 LE minimum. Expect to get about 20-30 fps (maybe even less) with a 7850. It probably wouldn't run on the 7770 because it is a very demanding game. And you should get a SSD.
PS3s are becoming old...

A GTX 570 is a good card but previous generation and you will be better off with a 7870 LE or a 670.

i dont have a budget for 7870le let alone 670 and i am getting a EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Superclocked - 1 GB GDDR5 ($140) and EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 HD 2.5GB ( from ebay and both are used). so should i opt for any of them or should i get a new 7850 1gb? as i will be gaming on my 1280X1024 monitor max.

I would go with the 570. It has more video memory. But the 7850 draws less power and could be cheaper?
Here are some benchmarks.

EDIT: 1280x1024 is low by today's standards and a 7850 may (because Crysis is VERY demanding) suffice. I play games at the same resolution with a 7770 at max. I thought you were gaming at 720p from the title?

Get a 7850. On that tiny resolution, a lower end card will be perfectly fine.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-processor-fr...
This will give you a basic idea, the G2120 will probably be similar to the G860 and the i5-3350P will probably be a little bit slower than the i5-3550 because of its lower clock speed, and the i3-3220 is in the article.
However, they are not tested on Crysis 3.
