I want to build a PC, mainly for gaming, but i'm a newbie to hardwares. My budget is about Rp 10.000.000, or $1000 (I live in Indonesia).
My plan for the PC :
- 2x Seagate 2TB SATA3
- ASUS P8H77-V
- Intel Core i7 3770 3.4Ghz Cache 8MB [Box] Socket LGA 1155
- HIS Radeon HD 7850 2GB DDR5 ICEQ
- Cooler Master HAF 912 ADVANCED (RC-912A-KWN1)
Are there anything weird or need to be replaced on my setup? And I need help for my PSU, how many watts do i need?

I'll choose the optical drive, monitor, etc, myself because i think they won't cause problems.

Thank you and forgive me for my bad english.

Sorry for any late reply, I believe Photoshop does take advantage of hyper-threading so it may be helpful for you then.

I5 and i7 are the same except or hyper-threading which helps in things like encoding.

You can see the comparison of GPUS here: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/550?vs=549

For the power supply, anything seasonic or corsair are typically good, if your buying one from a store, just look for those brands.

:( is the way I feel about fanboys. The 670 isn't bad; 680 is a waste of money. 7970 ghz is the same performance (maybe better) and a lot cheaper. A 7950 is very good too, ~ same as 670. (maybe not quite the performance, but much cheaper.)

Thank you for your answer. :)
I'm sorry i didn't mentioned before, but i also like photography, and I often edit big photo files in photoshop, lightroom, etc. My photoshop have a lot of plugins, and sometimes it run really slow with my current PC (core2duo 2.4 Ghz, radeon 5670). Will i7 (with the hyper-threading) give better performance, or i5 is enough? Or it's more of a VGA problem than the processor?
I can't find that 650W seasonic PSU. It's somehow a popular item and the stock always empty in my favourite store, and i planned to buy all the components there. Maybe I'll change it to other 650-ish W PSU, or do you have another recommendation?
About the VGA, the price for HIS 7950 here almost double the 7850 (i really like HIS VGA for the IceQ). Can you tell me the difference in performance between those two?

True, I am not really a fanboy on radeon. I used to when ATI was still there. I just hate Amd. They are really behind technology.:)
