Motherboard possibly blown by lightning

I have an Intel motherboard from around 2009 and an i5, the other night my house got stuck by lightning. When i try to switch on my pc, the front panel lights come on and the fans spin for about 1.5 seconds then they all go off and then do the same thing 5 seconds later. I have tried using a different PSU and it does the same thing. Any ideas of what the problem is ?

If the second PSU was a known working one most likely motherboard damage.

Ok thanks, it was a working PSU. Is it possible that the CPU and RAM might also be damaged?

It is hard to tell but if you have two memory sticks try using one at a time, if you have discrete graphics and onboard try running on onboard by pulling out the discrete card and so on. Basically a tedious process of elimination.
