I've seen some youtube videos of crysis 3 been played on my card and they play on high 1080p and get some nice fps.
I play on medium 1080p and get pretty low fps. So I don't know whats the problem.
System:
i5 3570k
asus z75 pro3
8gb ddr 1600 corsair vengance lp
asus gtx 550 ti direct cu

20-30 FPS is about what I'd expect. You will NOT get 60+ FPS with those settings on that card, it's a two year old budget card that's really just a refresh of a three year old budget card (seriously, it's the same internals as the 450). My pair of overclocked 7970s barely manage 60 FPS on the highest settings, it would boggle my mind if you could get the same performance by lowering settings one notch and using a video card that costs $700 less.

As for the video, any number of things could explain it.

1. The guy is lying and isn't getting 60+ FPS. There is no framerate display, he only states in the description that it was 60+ FPS.
2. The guy is lying and isn't using a 550 Ti, or forgot to mention that they're in SLI.
3. The alpha build he made the video with was less demanding than the retail build.
4. The map he chose is less demanding than the map you chose to test with.

If you go look at actual benchmarks, you'll see the 550 Ti doesn't get anywhere near 60 FPS on those settings.

For me to compare it more closely with my system, I would need to know what all of your settings are in Crysis 3.

I get 30-37 FPS, with most settings on high.

System

i7 930 2.8Ghz
6 GB Vengance RAM
eVGA GTX 460

Everything is stock clocked.
