Ok. I have a ASUS - P8Z77-V DELUXE, i3570k, 2 x 4gb ddr3 1333 corsair value select ram, win7 64bit. Running with normal settings in bios the system runs fine(tested with prime95). No bsod's or memtest errors. When I run with optimal settings i get bsod 124 and memtest86 unexpected interrupt halting errors. Any help to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the optimal settings are trying to overclock your RAM and/or CPU to a point or with settings they are not capable of doing. Just run with the normal settings if they are stable. If you want to overclock I'd recommend using manual settings, those motherboard auto settings never run stable for me.
