I have an Intel i7 3970x processor. I'm looking for a good motherboard that performs well and has high QC quality. I think I narrowed it down to these three:

ASRock Extreme11
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Gigabyte G1.Assassin 2

If anyone has experience with one or all of these boards, I'd like to hear your opinion. Also if anyone has any other suggestions for a good motherboard not on this list, I'd love to hear about it too!

Thanks!

To be honest you can't go wrong with any of those boards. They are all the flagship models for each manufacturer, and as such are loaded with features and quality.

Also, all 3 brands are very good, high quality (including ASRock) so there is no real winner there either.

Personally I would go with the RIVE, but I really like the look of their boards (I know... Horrible thing to go off of)

But, no matter which of those your choose, you are going to be very happy.

What is your current mobo? Or is this a new build?

Have a look at this article (http://www.anandtech.com/show/6697/asrock-fatal1ty-x79-champion-and-x79-professional-review-from-a-gamer-to-gamers/11). If you are primarily a gamer, there's only a couple of frames difference from the cheapest to most expensive and from Z77 to X79. Then again, if it's for gaming there are few situations where X79 is needed at all.

If not a gamer, the other benches should be of value.
