this is what i plan on buying

CPU - I5 3470
GPU - gigabight HD 6770
MOBO - MSI H77MA-G43 Motherboard (Intel H77, LGA1155, Micro-ATX, RAID, Gigabit LAN, Socket 1155)
RAM - Corsair CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 XMS3 8GB Two Memory Module Kit
HDD - 4 7200rpm drives (low gb)
Optical drive - Samsung SH-S224BB/BEBE SATA Dual Layer DVD-Rewritable Drive
Cooling - standard heat sink and 3 case fans (2 leds)

and help comments on any thing will be much appreciated!

What do you want to do with it? If it is for gaming you may want to buy a better gpu. If not, the 3470 comes with an IGP. I would recommend buying a bigger hdd instead of 4 small ones, unless you really want to do RAID 0+1. Also, there is no PSU in your list.
