I want to upgrade my computer by replacing the CPU, motherboard, and memory. I already have an SSD and plenty of storage. I'm using Windows 7 home premium and probably will. For some time and as much as I do not care for Windows 8. I am not a gamer. Probably my most intensive use is in Photoshop and related programs.

Currently, I am considering AMD FX 8350 CPU, the Asus MSA 99FX Pro R2.0 Motherboard And the Corsair Vengeance DDR 3 1600 MHz memory, probably 32 GB however, nothing is set in stone, and I would appreciate any advice someone has to offer.

I set about $500 as a target price however I would spend more if there was sufficient gain for my purposes. I have been toying with various combinations involving the Intel Core i5 3570K, the Core i7 3770, and the AMD FX 8170. I realize that the i7 would raise the cost significantly, but as I said earlier, I would consider it if there is a significant gain.
