If i downloaded Battlefield 3 from origin do i need online pass code?

i am gonna buy a serial code from my friend and put it in origin to download BF3 premium edition.

Do i need online pass code if i Downloaded BF3 from origin ?

yes

by putting in the code, you will download the game. you don't need any CD's because they will be downloaded and installed on your computer.
It's a large download (like 12GB) so if you have slow internet, it will take a LONG time. it's going to take a while if you have fast internet, but will take prly over 24 hours of continuous downloading to download if you have slow internet.

I'm sure there's a redeem code spot in origin. plop in the code and make sure it registers the game to ur account for download (it's similar to Steam)(you will need to have origin installed on ur PC and an account logged into to register the game to that account)
I would input the code with the cash ready to hand to the friend 1st, before paying him, otherwise you may get a code that has already been used...

no need for any other pass codes. the license key (to install the game) is all you need. After you get the game, you don't need any additional keys or subscriptions to play against people online. You use EA's hosted servers for online gameplay and your local PC for single player game play.

If you have the game licensed to your account (which is the ONLY way to download it from Origin to your PC/account). Then there are no other codes that you need in order to play it online. It's not like WOW or Xbox Live where you need to pay to play. You get full, unrestricted access to all aspects of the game by buying the game. Obviously, there are expansion packs, that you can buy too, but they are only extra maps/weapons to your full game.

( i don't have any cd or something its just a code to put it into origin redeem code ) so if i putted the code and worked and downloaded the game i can play multiplayer without putting any online pass code ?
