msi hd 7770 duel fan graphic card problems
my hd 7770 wont show any video it just wont connect to the monitor the fans moving but nothing shows. Hooked back to the intergreted 7660d graphics and video show i have all the drivers installed it just wont come back on after i uninstalled it because i took the heat sink off and i accidently lost one of the screws to it but that shoudn't matter right because the other 3 still on and tight on the gpu. i connect it to a 6 pin to molex adapter usaully because my powersupply dosen't have a regular 6 pin connector but that shoudn't be any confusing right and i also connect it using a dvi-d to vga adapter cause my monitor only accept vga. can anyone help me ,i hope its just the dvi-d to vga adapter that needs to be replaced cause it the cheapest and i hope its not the motherboard pci-e lane or the gpu. and if anyone need pictures i can upload them. and it will be like a day to respond because im using library wifi on my netbook and thanks in advance for anyone considering helping me, much help needed
cia24 said:You might want to have the four screws in. that may not be the issue but who knows what else you broke when you took it apart and voided the warrenty. Did you re apply thermal paste to it??? if not you might want to do that and make sure that all of the connections are solid.
well i lost that fourth screw and i haven't broke anything that i can see and but I'm try putting some themal paste on it though
