flamehead269 Honorable Feb 12, 2013 341 0 10,810 Mar 19, 2013 #1 I am OC my fx-8350 to 4.6Ghz, increasing ram frequency from 1600Mhz to 1866Mhz would make it go faster... but would it overheat my ram? I have High Profile Vengence 16gb from corsair, stock Mhz of 1600... Is it worth it?

Solution imomun Mar 19, 2013 edogawa : imomun, why are you repeating what's already been said? I said: "You will be fine with your memory kept at 1600MHz The performance difference from 1600 to 1866 is very minor. 1600MHz will not reduce your Processor overclock / performance The memory XMP profile is pretested to be the best settings for your ram. Example : http://www.pcper.com/files/imagecache/article_max_width/review/2011-10-10/memscaling.jpg " I gathered all the facts and example If this was a crime my apology.

Leave it at either stock or set 1600mhz. No need to go any higher. Upvote 0 Downvote
