oooh jezz there that bad. well is there any card that beats the 7970 (obviously the 690 but any others). And dont get me wrong i REALLY REALLY want that Sapphire i just was wondering.

For the price of that single card no. Going into some sli/cf setups yes but those can be a nightmare.

Hmm well sense i know now not to get the 670, are there any cards that will beat the 7970? and is the 7970 "future proof" and ya i know thing change fast but do you think i will be able to keep the card for at least 3 years?

I own a Sapphire 7970 Vaporx Ghz edition. It runs Cry 3 at Ultra settings with max AA and max motion blur too. It bought a 680 3 months back and sold it as I was not happy with the performance. Nvidia is just a hype for noobs, AMD has the real power and ofcourse "value for money". AMD may not have the most powerful card like 690, but it has the most powerful "buyable" card for most (99%)of us. Buy the Sapphire Vaporx, as it has good cooling.

|My system spec: Asus M5a97 R2.0, AMD FX8350 BE, 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz, Corsiar VS650 PSU, Corsiar H80 Coolant, Cooler Master Elite 431 cabinet, Sapphire 7970 VaporX
