The case doesn't have the greatest airflow. Generally heat/hot air rises so you want to have all the front/bottom/side fans as intakes and back/top as exhausts. This should give you enough cooling and positive air pressure. 80c seems a bit high. But Intel rates them for about 100c I think so it's safe, plus this is under a stress test for maximum CPU temperatures. I would expect you to have around 60 or 70 max on a normal load. If you are still worried then go buy a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Should bring your temps down to 60C max load.

On idle, temps are around 35 degrees.

I'm using the stock cooler.

How about rendering, compiling, or vector graphics?

Also, having 2 top exhausts seems to be working better than a top exhaust + back exhaust.

None of those will put Prime load on the CPU which is the reason many sites have stopped using it in their tests, many using OCCT now. Top is fine but often depends on the location of the CPU fan which most of the time is oriented blowing to the back straight at the exhaust fan. In that case a forward top exhaust fan can sometimes compete with the CPU fan for air but of course is case dependent.
