Is there any way I can get this card to fit in my motherboard? I have a PDS Vector GZ and the only PCI-E x16 slot is at the very top and there is no room for a dual slot card. If not, can you recommend a good motherboard/cpu combo that won't set me back more than 150-200 bucks?

Last time I buy a new graphics card without thinking about if it will fit or not lol.

After looking at the specs for that system you'll need more than just a motherboard and cpu. You'll pretty much need an entirely new system. The 275w or 325w(model shipped with either) psu is not nearly enough for the 7850. If you get a new motherboard and cpu you'll also need a new case as the new motherboard and psu wont fit in to the old one. Also a new motherboard and cpu will require new ram, as the newer motherboard will need DDR3 and your system uses DDR2. About the only things you could use from the current system is the hdd and optical drive.

Thank you all for the responses so far. The case you may be seeing isn't the tower that lays flat. It's a standard size, standing tower. I may or may not need a new case but I assumed I would just need a new motherboard and processor. Hoped for a cheap solution even though I knew better. I have a 700w psu installed in this tower now though. Not the 300w that came with it originally. It has 2 single core P4 3.0 Ghz processors in it but I know I'll still need to upgrade the motherboard to use this specific card, simply because of the space issue. I should have been more specific with my first post though.

Also I'm running 2 2GB DDR3 sticks in my current set up. Maxed memory for my system is 4GB.
