Looking to buy RAM and I'm not sure which RAM to buy. What speed does the FX6800-01e support? I was looking at 1333mhz and 1600mhz, I'm leaning towards the 1333mhz. I have CPU-z and the max bandwith is 1333mhz, but it's currently running at 1066mhz. Which type of RAM should I buy and what type of RAM is supported by this chipset? Also, is there any type of "cap" or restriction that gateway may have put on the speed, so if you buy 1600mhz it'll only run at 1066mhz. Thank you!

Your motherboard supports DDR3 at 1066MHz as stated here http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/FX/FX6800/FX6800sp2.shtml.
and max of 12GB.
Since you have 6 slots for RAM you'll have to go for 2GB modules. Any (Kingston, Corsair, G.Skill, Mushkin, Kingmax...) with 2GB module and 1066MHz speed will work for you.
