just finished my custom water cooling loop and got a koolance water block for my 7970 and overclock it to the max 1125/1575 and with kobuster running i dont go past 46 Celsius. i want to really push my 7970. plz help
try increasing the voltage, as long as you dont pass around 70oC (which you wont on a loop) your voltage increase will be fine
GET SOME JUICE PUMPED THROUGH!!
the core voltage should be adjustable, it will be an offset-able slider, just like the core clock is
The thing is, core clocks can't by default be set to values beyond a certain cap. Then voltages or heat don't come into play if you simply can't get the software to comply.
With MSI Afterburner I believe you need to enable unofficial mode.

of course, i forgot that, i use GPU tweak and have a similar button (overclocking range enhancement) it allows 1720MHZ up from 1050, not that is even possible.
