Goodmorning Toms. Im building a new rig and im curious if my psu will be enough.

Heres my shopping list

Case:o verseer RX-1 Snow edition (6fans- 4x140mm+2x120mm)
CPU: AMD FX-8350(i rly want to oc it to the max with this cooler)
CPU cooler:Corsair H100i Liquid Qooling
MOBO:Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0
DDR3:Ripjaws-X 2133mhz (9-11-10-28) 1.65v
VGA:Gigabyte HD 7870 oc Windforce 3 (1100mhz core - 1200mhz Mem)
HDD:WD sata 2 600GB 7200RPM
SSD: Ill get one eventually but not atm cuz i cant affort it yet, in 1 month i will get a hyperx ssd kingston 240gb)
DVD-ROM:Super Multi RW
Cold Cathodes: 2x30cm Blue Color (Sharkoon)
PCI: 1x WLAN card
Monitor is an LG with max 1980x1200 1080p HD 60hz, i think getting exteme vga will not benefit from it 100%)
Current psu: Corsair VX550w
the PSU i want to match the color system: Aerocool Templarius +80 Silver 750w

All this will cost me around 950euro.

I dont play hardcore games in general. My main game is World of warcraft and ship simulator extreme.

What u guys think about this Build and wattage output? i do plan to overclock the VGA and the CPU to the max possible knowing that there is nice 6 fans in system and the H100i fans push+pull combination.

the 550w psu won't cut it. the 750 might but i would go 800 to be safe. the rest of your build looks good though.

Damn i was really hoping the templarius 750w +80 silver will be ok for the build :(  cuz of the white color that matches my taste and system look :(

Then i should go for xfx 850w pro +80 bronze instead? this one has some nice review its black and it costs 6-8euros more than than templarius.

it be a better choice since your overclocking. if you weren't the PSU you had would of been fine. better to spend a few more bucks now then over tax your supply and shorten your rigs life span.

Ok i think ill do this cuz i rly want the white color psu :p  i removed the ripjawsX from the list ill use my current kingston 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 hyperx and added the templarius 850w +80 silver witch was way more expensive than xfx one and also added 2 xigmatek CLF 2x120mm fans to replace the fans on h100i witch are extreme loud in full rpm like 48dba and xigmatek ones are 20dba with just 5cfm less but as long the overseer gives me the option of push and pull fans in the top of the case im back to my budget, in the next month ill get better ddr3 and an ssd to complete my rig. i hope it is ok now with this build i plan .

+1 to atomicWAR. Nice build but overclocking means overvolting and I have to agree with atomicWAR that you'll need at least a 750 watt but I too suggest getting a 800 watt or higher power supply for the very reason of overclocking. Invest a $20-30 more and decrease the chances of destroying your system. Also, what gigahertz are you planning to overclock your CPU if you mean 'the max'?

i will be happy with 5ghz on the cpu.

  you have to high of expectations it's possible but i doubt that you will be getting 5.0GHZ but if you can settle for less your good. ;)

How u say that, i have read a lot that fx-8350 with h100i with push+pull combo easily gets to 5ghz with temps of 65c-70c if its not worthing i can go back to air cooling as i hoped for good performance with water cooling.

Your build is nice but most people OC to 4GHz.
Also, is the 600GB hard disk something you already had? It is a HDD and it is SATAII, so don't expect to get great boot times. Also when you buy a SSD you'll have to move Windows and everything else there.

Well the thing is with overclocking there no guarantees it's luck of the draw.Like i mentioned it's possible i just doubt it.

Man the fx-8350 is already 4ghz stock speed , about the ssd and hdd ye ssd is great upgrade right now, but i dont mind waiting a couple of seconds more for the boot as im playing rubbing my dog at this time and times passes rly fast.
Ill defo get an ssd but i just cant affort it right now max i can give 950euros and the build i plan costs that much. in next month ill get paid again and ill upgrade more. The SSD HyperX 3k from kingston the bundle kit proved a cd with program that clones the hdd into the ssd so it will be peace of cake for an average user like me.

The amount of ignorance in this thread is irritating. A 750watt power supply is more then adequate I am unfamiliar with the aerocool brand but nothing in the specs rings any alarms. The Fx-8350 is not nearly as power hungry and you guys seem to think it is and I have hard numbers to back this up. In this review the test system pulled 364 watts at the wall running prime 95 with the 8350 overclocked to 4.8ghz that is the whole system not just the cpu and that includes psu inefficiency. He could put an overclocked 7970 in the case with it and still have a comfortable safety margin.

The suggestion that most people overclock to 4ghz is idiotic as the 8350 runs at 4ghz stock 5ghz is very possible but it will depend on the part. Closed Loop water coolers are on par with top air coolers but not really any better their main selling points are that you can fit them in much smaller cases then a big air cooler and they don't hang a lot of weight off the motherboard. For cooling you will likely be better off with a Noctua NH-D14 it is one of the best air coolers on the market. It cools just as well as the H100i and is cheaper and unlike the H100I it will also help cool the voltage regulators for your cpu. I checked and it will fit in your case.

Finally why do you need this much power WOW has been around for a long time and is very undemanding and I looked up Ship simulator extreme on steam and it doesn't look very demanding. This looks like overkill a FX-6300 Should overclock just as well and is a good bit cheaper and on the graphics side a 7850 should be more then adequate. There is nothing wrong with your current build but it looks like your buying hardware you don't need. Also you may want to look at the PowerColor HD 7870 MYST. Edition and the SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870 XT despite being called a 7870 they are more like a 7930. These are Tahiti LE parts and are very close performance wise to the 7950 I think its major over kill but here in the US they are priced the same as the 7870's so there is no reason not to get one if the price is close where you are.

Edit: no offense but that ram is just silly get 8gb of1600mhz or 1866mhz ram
