  1. For most applications the Intel combo will offer higher performance for a higher price, but we need to know what you want the PC for.
  2. thanks for the advice i want t use it for some good gaming
  3. Performance wise a 3rd generation i5(i5 3570k) is plain faster than the fx4170. Im not exacty sure which Intel cpu you were referring to the i5 3779k doesn't exist the 3770k is an i7 the current fastest i5 is the 3570k.

Intel's socket 1155 isnt getting any new cpus as Haswell(intels next cpu) will use socket 1150. AMDs vishera cpus use AM3+ and its rumored that their next gen cpus dubbed steamroller will also use AM3+ but they aren't due to release till 2014 so right now its just speculation. I personally would still get the Intel.
  7. motherboard vs motherboard, the msi mobo is better than the asrock one as asrock z77 pro3 is entry level z77 motherboard. if you want a good intel mobo, start from asrock z77 extreme4, asus p8z77 v-le or gigabyte ga z77x d3h/ud3h.
  8. Comparing those motherboards is hardly a fair comparison given they're completely different platforms! For a games machine go with the i5-3570k

    which ddr3 would u choose when use of a 3570k nd a z77 motherboard?

    which ddr3 would u choose when use of a 3570i nd a z77 motherboard?

check the motherboard's 'qualified vendor list' or 'memory support list' for compatible memory kit and choose from there according to the budget.
for ivy bridge core i5 3570k, 2x 4gb ddr3 1600 kit (e.g. corsair vengeance, xms, gskill, gskill ripjaws series etc) should be okay. if you're adventurous about ram oc, look for a compatible overclockable ram.

PSU depends on the rest of your specs. And they're measured in Watts, not Volts.
