Hello guys. I have recently bought a new Computer. The Computer has a 400w (opened case and power supply says it's 480w) power supply. I have been wondering what power supply do I buy? I've been looking at this power supply, is it good enough? 600w seems enough for my Computer since I want to overclock my CPU and GPU. My CPU most likely bottlenecks my GPU. The Computer was the most inexpensive for it's GPU. How ever I see there's a better Computer for 600$. I also have another question, does the size matter? Is it possible that the new power supply won't fit in the case? Thank you for reading and helping if you do.

unless the case is really small then you should not have any issues with most psu's. long psu's are rare.

Woah, those were quick replies! One other forums I'd have to wait days for one unhelpful reply! I made a good choice picking tom's hardware. I have one more question, how do I install a power supply, I've watched a few videos about it. All I really need to learn is where to connect what (what needs power, basic understanding is GPU, CPU, hard drive?, fan cases). A link to another thread or a video where this is explained would be nice.

Rosewill Stallion Series RD600 600W is more than good enough
Even a good 500 watt will do.
When gaming except games like crysis3 more than 4 core is no real use.
Cpu overclock will eliminate any cpu bottleneck if theres any.
I don't see much difference between the two pc in terms of gaming.
What realy matters is the GFX card and the resolution you game @
Any standard power supply will fit any standard size case, no problem

Nice links.

@ OP, yeah, only small cases tend to have special power supply sized, This is an SFX power supply(300 watts and running a GTX 650 ti :)  ). Small and made for SFF cases. They also other form factors.

It is a bit of an older design(you can see this because of its voltage selection[120/240] switch), but 80+ is all about eclectic efficiency(less heat, less wasted power).

Many users seem to be of the impression that a non 80+ power supply puts out less power(some users go as far as to say you have to take 20%(100 - psu efficiency percentage) off your power supplies rated output because of losses. in reality you have to ADD to its power consumption, not take from its output.). This is simply not true, Power supplies are rated in DC output, so if your power supply says it is made to deliver 25amps @ 12 volts, it will deliver 25 amps @ 12 volts. The non 80+ one will waste power power(thus make more heat), but it WILL still push 25 amps @ 12 volts.

That power supply is rated at 46 amps(552 watts) @ 12 volts. That is more then enough for a modern system.

What you DO have to watch out for is cheap 400-500 watt power supplies with 15-18 amps(180-216watts) @ 12 volts. I have a 300 watt unit with more.

Bottom line, It may not be top end, but should be more then enough for most systems.
