Folks of Tom's Hardware, I seem to be having a strange problem. You are the best on the internet, so I'm coming to you after giving it my best shot.

I'm running:

An AMD 1045T six-core processor,
an XFX Radeon HD 7850 2GB,
Windows 7 64-bit,
3 HP w2072a 20" monitors (DVI< VGA) at 1600x900.
CCC Version 13.1
2 ACTIVE miniDisplayPort to DVI adapters (currently only using one, but both work properly,)
1 straight DVI cable,
and 1 DVI to HDMI cable.

Here's the weird part. All three of the monitors work individually. All three of them work in pairs. 1+2, 1+3, and 2+3 all work fine as dual monitor setups. However, I cannot set them up as a triple monitor setup. Whenever I try to activate a third monitor, Windows simply tells me that it's unable to save the display settings. That's it. CCC doesn't recognize any of my "third" monitors in the same fashion, even though they're all hooked up correctly individually and in pairs.

What should I do, folks?

From the Anandtech review of the 7850:

Meanwhile for display connectivity AMD is using the same configuration as we’ve seen on the 7900 series: 1 DL-DVI port, 1 HDMI port, and 2 miniDP ports. Interestingly, unlike the 7900 series and 7700 series there is a set of pads for a second DVI port on the card, and while AMD doesn’t make use of them at least one XFX card will. The 7800 series as the same display configuration options as the 7900 series though, so while it can drive up to 6 monitors it can only drive 2 TMDS (HDMI and DVI) type displays at once, and if you want to drive a full 6 monitors you’ll need a MST hub (DisplayPort Splitter).

the owner may have been thinking of the 6900 series, where they often had 2 DVI, 1 HDMI, and a DisplayPort - but you could only connect 2 of the 3 DVI/HDMI ports at the same time.
