So, basically I need a new graphics card. I have a limited budget and based on the selection made on my own knowledge I came down to two cards: AMD Radeon HD7770 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti. I will be doing 1080p gaming. I don't really care about the settings, I just want to run the games as smoothly as possible.

My current PC specifications are:
AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz
ASRock 970 Extreme3
Kingston HyperXblu 6GB DDR3 1333MHz
Corsair VS550 550W

The cards I'm currently considering are:

Asus Radeon HD7770 GHz Edition DirectCU Top 1GB

vs

Palit GeForce GTX 650 Ti OC 1GB

650ti is better, but I never hear talk about Palit. How about MSI 650ti Power Edition?

Yea I did consider the HD 7850 as well. But I will have to get the very basic model: Sapphire Radeon HD7850 Dual-X 1GB DDR5 256-bit. Is it good enough?

Its a lot better for sure. But can you find gtx 660? Its 10$ more expensive but gives better preformance.

The GTX 650 TI is better than hd 7770 you have listed http://www.hwcompare.com/13633/geforce-gtx-650-ti-vs-ra... but If you can afford the HD 7850 then the sapphire will be no problem bcoz they only make the PCB not the GPU. :)
