Okay first time building, It's a cheap build, and I'm going to use it for games like skyrom or games of 2013. and I don't know much about computers. Here are my specs.

WD WD Blue WD5000AAKX-FR 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2 AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

HIS iCooler H777F1G2M Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

CORSAIR XMS 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX4GX3M2B1600C9

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ965FBGMBOX

My cost is only at 318 right now. I already own the OS, keyboard, mouse, and screen, and the gpu. Please tell me I don't need 8 gigs of ram. I know I can use 4 gigs of ram. I just want to know if this is the right choice of ram. What do you think about this build?

Ok, good job, pretty nice picking.

You want to go with a SeaSonic PSU
I would pick an Asus or MSI motherboard.

You probably will want 8Gb of RAM, but with a build that cheap, it's probably not necessary.

First, I would suggest a better motherboard. The one you've selected is old tech; it lacks modern interfaces like USB3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s, and runs its Hypertransport at only 2200MHz (compared to 2600 or 2800MHz for new boards). You want a 900-series chipset board; make sure the Southbridge is NOT the old SB710.
Second, a 380W Antec Earthwatts is sufficient for that build, or you could use the Seasonic 360G. Although smaller, either of those PSUs is higher quality (and more efficient) than the CWT-made Corsair "Builder." Either of those PSUs could run a HD7850 if you anticipate a near-term graphics card upgrade. If you might get something stronger, then you'd probably want a PSU in the 500W-550W range. I would recommend one built by Seasonic (their own, XFX, some Antec), FSP (their own, some Antec), or Super Flower (new Rosewill and new Kingwin).
If your motherboard is a micro-ATX with only two RAM slots, then I would suggest getting the 8GB of RAM. No, you don't need it now, but you probably will sooner or later, and you'd need to scrap (or sell) your existing RAM to add more later. DDR3-1600 is good.
You will probably want an aftermarket cooler, since the 965BE overclocks very well. I use the Xigmatek Gaia on both of my rigs. Its performance is between the Coolermaster Hyper 212+ and Hyper 212 EVO, but is cheaper than either one, and quieter (per Frostytech reviews of all three).
