ASUS Z77 Sabertooth - Little Info Needed Please

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. I was wondering if any knew of a way to find out what amps/wattage the Z77 Sabertooth supplies to the fan headers??? I Googled it but I can't find the answer.

Only asking as I was debating whether to get a couple of fan splitter cables so I can plug 2 case fans into 1 header as I've run out of headers =( And it's going to be a month/6 weeks before I can order a decent fan controller.

Sorry my bad, I meant amperage, (edited my original post). I read that with a lot of MoBo's it's not a good idea to plug 2 or more fans into 1 header as it will draw more power through it than it's meant to.

I'd try downloading the manual to the mobo or contacting Asus. Probably the quickest way to go about it.

The rule of thumb I stick with is 2 fans max, size dependent of course...

1 amp =( ah heck, my fans are 1.0*? something, so 2 plugged into 1 header is a bad idea. Well fan controller it is then.
