first i would like to appreciate ppl on tomshardware forum, for helping me choose my rig (budget gaming rig)

right now em running on a very week psu (chk link below for spec of psu),which is 3+ years old, even though it's local and it's 12v rail is weak em able to run my system without any issues (but sometimes no display with gpu fan runs at 100%, which can be fixed by restarting) recently i've played games like crysis 1, BF2, NFS MW2, NFS HP2, star craft 2, completely maxed out @1080p

questions:
1>em plannin to upgrade my psu to save some electricity bills from my old psu and safe guard my rig esp my GPU.
2> or is it safe to continue till my psu fails and replace with branded one
3>psu suggestion?? for hd 5770,with wealthy 22-25AMP on 12v rail(someone suggested me according to my gpu, correct me if em wrong). em on tight budget.
and along with psu em planning to buy new cabinet (zebronics bijili 2 with 4*120mm led fans of molex connectors).

system spec:
core 2 quad q8300 @2.5GHz (bought one from friend) with CM HYPER212
gigabyte G41m combo rev 2.0 (LGA 775) (new one)
transcend 4gb ddr3 1333MHz (new one)
segatte 500gb sata (from old system)
PSU=FRONTECH jil 2414b
ACER 24" 1080P LED MONITOR
ATI HD 5770 (bought one for dirt cheap i.e 1500inr/30usd)

Well first off, it is around 450 Watts, which is fine for your build. I also would recommend a Fractual Design R4 Define, they run kind of around $70 - $130 it has wonderful airflow, easily fits your MOBO, I love mine, check it out here, here is a PSU as well:

PSU:

NOTE:!!!!Comes with 80 GOLD EFFICENCY so you save on power!!

NOTE: Choose from multiple awesome cases from Fractual Design!! :D

A nice cheap PSU is the CX430, only $20 after the MIR

Never ever let the PSU fail as it can take out other things with it!

To keep it short

-If you run it untill it dies, its like popping a balloon, it pops and sometimes is okay, and sometimes it makes a mess and breaks stuff.
-I recomend a Corsair 600w Modular power supply @ USD50$
