To big proccesor cooler :(

hello!.

me name Brian Grinwis

I i have bought some memory for my computer (16Gigs) Corsair
4 channel 4 gigs each

but my Proccesor cooler streches of my first dimm and i have 1 low profile dimm already instaled but i wanted to upgrade it but the Memort i bought does not fits under my cooler so i have a question

Can i stick 3 memory dimm in it and have not trouble or are there anny sugestion?

Solution
As noted above, can do three sticks but will be in single channel mode. Not sure what the real world impact is. Like cin19 said, you can also google and see if you can find a video or instructions on removing the RAM heatsinks (I'd go that route given your other options).

Edit: You could also just run two sticks for 8GB if this is for gaming and still have plenty. Can sell the other sticks or hold them in case one in the system goes bad. Another option might be to move the fan covering the slot to the other side of the fins if there is room there. You still have a push in the middle and pulling out the other side. Not optimal, but worth a look. Worst case, just run one fan (the middle one) and see if temps are still acceptable...

No thats not possble because i have the RAM Modules laying for 2 months now but i wanted to know iff i can fit 3 modules in there and still be okay
