hi, this is my first build and i'm very scared about leaks in liquid cooling, i just wanna know that should i go for closed loops or for kits like xspc?

Liquid cooling does not provide a better alternative to air cooling if a good heatsink/fan combo is employed. If future OC is anticipated, kits that allow for modding the pump/radiator are a better choice. Keep in mind they are not quieter than air cooling, I would say the opposite.

I would not recommend liquid cooling for any other than an expert. Certainly not for myself.

This is a review of one of the best water coolers, the mighty Hydro 100 by Cosair. I'd recommend you read the article, it gives you a sense of what all is involved with water cooling. My favorite cooler is the Noctua NH-C14. An air cooler just two degrees behind the Hydro 100.

Evo, a step behind the Noctua NH-C14 in cooling, a few steps behind in pricing. Yes, the Evo wins the performance to cost ratio award.

To be honest, closed circuit liquid cooling is pretty overrated. You really only need it if you have a high-end system that is overclocked. Other than that, it's purely aesthetic, since water cooling looks much better than a big peace of metal covering most of your motherboard. So if you enjoy looking at the inside of your system a lot, then yes, you probably want watercooling. :p

For me the looks of my cpu matter more than its performance ;-) if u know what i mean ;-) water cooling is also not that expensive, will it fit in my 120$ budget?

Depending on what you have a good kit is usually 250-ish dollars and upwards of 350 if you have multiple GPUs, etc...
