ROUTER's LAN INPUT PORT DEAD

i got a netgear router. the output lan ports are working but the input lan port is not responding (however i checked the port is fine, something is wrong with the circuit board). what i want to know is, can i by any means put it to use? by making some config changes so it receives signals from the output lan port? please help

I doubt your stock firmware has that functionality, but dd-wrt does. Find your router model and read through the setup documents if it's something you want to try.
